Jamshedpur, November 29, 2024: As part of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3), Tata Steel Zoological Park in association with Tata Steel Foundation is celebrating a special week between November 27 to December 4, aimed to promote inclusivity and accessibility for PwDs.
On November 29, 2024, the Tata zoo has hosted an enriching and memorable group visit for 532 PwD participants, including their teachers and caregivers. The event was scheduled from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm which aimed to provide an immersive experience in nature while fostering awareness and empathy within the community.
This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collaboration of various non-profit organizations, including Haemophilia Society, Path, GNA, Asha Kiran School, Aspire, SOB, Tarapore School, DivyaJyoti, Chesire Home, CBV, Nayi Disha, and Sunlight. Their involvement underscored the collective commitment to creating a society where everyone, regardless of ability, has equal opportunities to experience the beauty of the world around them.
Tata Steel Zoological Park, renowned for its efforts to create inclusive spaces, is committed to providing an environment where everyone, can engage with and enjoy the wonders of wildlife.
