Lawrence Bishnoi tried to kill me; says Salman khan

Jamshedpur, July 24, 2024:

Actor Salman Khan accused gangster Lawrence Bishnoi of firing incident aimed at him and his family in the early hours of April 14. Khan’s statement, part of a recently filed 1,735-page chargesheet accessed exclusively by India Today, details years of threats from Bishnoi and his associates.

Salman’s statement was recorded by the anti-extortion cell of Mumbai last month. The statement read, “I heard a cracker-like sound. Then, at around 4.55 am, the police bodyguard said that two people on a bike had fired from a weapon at the Galaxy Apartment’s first floor balcony. There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well. I have learnt that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the attack from social media. So, I believe that it is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who have carried out the firing on my balcony.”

The actor further said, from social media he got to know Lawrence gang had taken the responsibility of the shootout. He has told his relatives to be on alert all the time.

This development has prompted Mumbai Police to intensify their investigation, having already arrested several suspects linked to the plot. The charge sheet also exposes a contract issued for Khan’s assassination, underscoring the severity of the threat posed by Bishnoi’s criminal network.

Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi, along with 15 others, have been charged by the police in relation to the firing incident. Lawrence Bishnoi is currently incarcerated at Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati prison.

The actor also said this is not the first time Lawrence had attempted to kill me, there have been several such incidents in the past as well.
