Mumbai: The Actor turned politician Kangna Ranaut in a recent interview revealed that a conspiracy was hatched against her, so she does not get any work in Bollywood. Many Directors, Actors, Cinematographers refused to work with her.
Kangna will be seen in her next project ‘Emergency’ where she will be seen playing the role of Ex-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Recently the trailer of the film was launched and it got mixed responses.
During the interview she revealed, “Many casting directors and DOPs refused to work with me. Actors were being called to not work with me. A lot of conspiracies were hatched against me.”
She further added, “I had to face many challenges while making this film. Every film has to face many obstacles and then they get many angels who support you through those obstacles. I want to specially thank my actors.”
Kangna praised her co-stars
Kangna praised her co-stars of the Film saying “It’s a good feeling when people choose to work with you in difficult times. They treated me with a lot of respect and love”. Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Satish Kaushik and Mahima Chaudhary will be seen alongside Kangna.
Controversy on ‘Emergency’
The film’s trailer has offended the Sikh sentiments. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and Akal Takht have demanded an immediate ban on the film, alleging that it is intentionally designed to harm the Sikh community.
This is not the first time Kangna has found herself in the middle of a controversy. In June she was allegedly slapped by a CISF Jawan at Chandigarh airport. And her much-talked-about controversy with Hrithik Roshan is still fresh in people’s minds.
